WHO WE ARE
Judy Hur, CALT is a Certified Academic Language Therapist. She recently graduated from Georgetown University with an M.S. in Applied Linguistics. She has been with Virginia Dyslexia Therapy since 2015 and provides one-on-one academic therapy for students with dyslexia and dyscalculia. She also specializes in working with students who are learning foreign languages.
Deborah Spear, M. Ed., CALT is a Certified Academic Language Therapist, Clinical Director of ASDEC’s Northern Virginia Training Program, and the only Qualified Instructor of Academic Language Therapists in Virginia. She has been in private practice since 2002 providing one-on-one and small group academic therapy for students with dyslexia and other language difficulties.
